Hah! The long-awaited family day is finally here. Actually, we just went to shop for awhile and then makan after that. I have to admit that the adults are definitely bigger spenders than me, the "impulsive buyer"(chengwei's-surname-which-i-forgot,2005). But I did rebute that I'm only an "impulsive thinker". lol.First stop, we went to IMM building to shop for a while as papa bear said he's still quite full from lunch. haha. That gives me the chance to go collect my vcd "He's a woman, She's a man"(in chinese, jin1 zhi1 yu4 ye4). That's my all-time favourite. I watched it N times. Or rather, quoting from Joyce(another sph intern), we've watched it (n+1)times. hahaha. sounds abit more wad. Then they were playing "Full House" on the TV in the shop and I stood there to look at Rain. woot.Afterwhich, me and my bro aka Kelvin, went to the antique ornaments shop to meet up with my dad, mum and sis. HAH. That's where they spent big money. Oh, i forgot to say something. My dad asked me to guess how much is his sapphire ring. It looks really..And so I suggest $5. hahaha. And my dad nearly killed me. Then I went $8...$29.90...$38.90...$168..................$800. Yes. THAT ring cost $800. After much calculation, me and my bro conclude that we could have bought: 1 2GB nano iPod + apple lanyard headphones + samsung E530C hp. Oh man. The ring feel so heavy on my thumb. But quite shiok too. hahahaha. While mum and dad were combing for good stuffs in the shop, my sis found me(the cute wooden piggy) on the floor. AND I found her too. hahaha. but only her head was left.(cute-minus-adorable wooden pig head). Then I bought the MOST EXPENSIVE PRESENT EVER for my mum. It's a "tian1 zhu1". In another words, it's actually healing stones that evolved from Tibet 70,000 years ago. A really small bead, but it cost me $150. But worth it lah, consider that I seldom give anything to my mum. I love my mum. =)Then brother and sister bear started to pester me to buy them stuffs. BOO. hahahaha. next time. "Maybe".(Kimura, 2004, "Pride")The highlight of the show was going to Hilltop restaurant, located further up from Jurong Bird Park, to have Teppanyaki! heh. We ate alot of good stuff and the chef is damn good. His knife is like whoa. His fork is like whooa. His skills is like WHOAAAA. hahaha. Then me and Kelvin ate pan-fried ice-cream after that.Last stop, papa bear drove us to my familiar hang-out -- Clarke Quay. He suggested taking Bungee shot, but definitely jokingly. LOL. Then all of us observe the 3 tourists who were taking the ride and my mum was laughing hysterically at them. wahaha. cheap thrill. like me. Saw Anto at Crazy Elephant again. Anto ah Anto, don't you have off days?? poor thing. That's about it. I'm dead beat now. peace out. =)"Ouch. It's raining. Sizzling hot."
please smile for me, baby
