*sigh* Really feel like singing Taufik's "I Dream". Ever since when I'm p3 I've loved music like nothing else and I believe some of my goody friends share the same interest as me too. Then, when I'm around sec3/4, I realised that i need to do something to sort of like.. hmm.. express my love for it. So I began writing chinese lyrics and scores. The lyrics part is the easy one if you ask me. As for the scores part.. LOL.. you really need to put in alot of effort and time to settle with the timing, the mood, the speed, the tone and everything lah. Fortunately that's what I have now. Time. I thought that will be enough to start my little teeny weeny dream as a composer cum singer, but now i lack of one more factor. MONEY MONEY MONEY. Just copyrighting 1 of my songs will cost me $25, which i think is relatively quite cheap when you THINK of it. But in actual fact, for a jobless person like me now, it's damn ex. Furthermore, I had never like asking money from my mum or dad. It just feels so not good. tsk. Then, my ex piano teacher told me he can help me to arrange and everything with the expense of $100, which i think he really really is offering a very "cheap labour" pricing whereby no other recording studios will offer. Somemore I can trust him as he's quite a long-term friend and teacher of mine. Well, it all sounded good except for one part. For one demo cd that I'm going to send to any recording house or publishing companies, i need to have at least 4 or 5 tracks in it. Therefore, $125 x 5. People, do your math. Too slow? It's $625. You THINK it's cheap. Well, please donate to me. My mailbox is: Blk 6xx Bedok Reservoir Rd #XX-XXXX S'pore 4x06xx. Or else, find me a job. Okay people, now maybe you're thinking why i'm complaining about all this stuff. As you all know, I'm not one who likes to complain whole day and night. BUT... When i thought that I'm going to have this high-pay job at Duty Free Shop @ Airport so that i can afford to pay my school fees/laptop and expense of recording a demo, they crashed my world apart as they told me they needed someone to work full-time until the end of the year. HELLO?!?! At first, your ad on the ST printed out that you need part-time staff. And then, you ask me to woek full-time so i agreed to work until mid-May. Why do you have to have this management meeting and then stop my money-making route + my teeny weeny dream? Good, now I've to search for some other jobs. =) Listening to: Survivor - Shawn Yu Mood: ugh..
please smile for me, baby
