Tiramisu + wine appreciation day
heh. Had tiramisu and wine appreciation with Kyong, Gerald, Joy, Harris and Edwin(who came late) today.
This morning, I use only about 15 mins to prepare, 10 mins to go online to check for updates on ah lok, then chiong down to Gerald's bus stop to meet the Bedok Reservoir gang. I'm the first one to reach again(after the last meeting)~ lol. As usual, we went Siglap South CC for choir prac. Took the guys for warm-up and think their less lam-nuah now.. which is very good. However, I've rusted and didn't get the correct range for the guys. OR maybe they just bullying me. HURR!! hahaha.. jk
The choir improved quite alot in their Shoga III as I was quite blown away by it. I think Gerald really put alot of effort into it and really make the choir sound more together now. Love ya~
hmm.. I shan't say anything about other choirs as they might run into my blog. lol. But that doesn't mean they're not good enough. I think the syf people are all working hard to achieve the same goal. Okai, end of choir stuff.
After that, we went to Parkway food court and had our lunch. Nelson is with us. A MAJOR discovery: he is actually a Hong-Konger!! haha. So as the usual Cantonese freak, I asked him lots of stuff of Cantonese pronounciation during our eating time. In the end, both of us and Joy finished last. lol. I'm actually quite attracted to guys speaking cantonese. However, if I had known you beforehand then maybe not lah. Like Nelson aka the future trishaw rider. hahaha.
They came to my house to try out the very first Tiramisu that I've made in my entire life and I don't really think it's good. Maybe a...40%? For the effort I've put in whisking the egg white until stiff(as my electronic mixer went down on me). bleah. Then we had wine appreciation. We bought the White Grape Chadonnay and Sparkling Wine. I preferred the latter as I drank only a sip(the rest finished by Gerald). We truly enjoyed the "Les Choristes" in my newly tidied room and Kyong found him suddenly liking my room. lol. Anyway, I discovered last night that I bake really good butter cookies. Maybe I'll make some of them for tomorrow's practice. heh. I baked some for Sam Koh's bday. It's tomorrow aka 1 hr away.
