Keep up with the news, will ya?

Just read a news yesterday and was quite disturbed by it. Although it didn't manage to make it on the front page, I think it's about time that it does. The text below represents my
OWN opinion of the news and it is all rights reserved:

The main highlight of the news is:"19-year-old woman got raped in the public toilet of China, 40 people stood watch." You may be thinking that this 32-year-old man who raped this young lady is sick enough to ask 40 men(as in all male) to watch him do his thing. That's what I thought at first. However, as I read on, I felt that it is even more sickening than what I thought. The China "comrads" who are supposed to be a united bunch of people, regardless of woman or man, young or old, just STOOD and watched the helpless and desperate lady flailing for help. Well, maybe they're intimidated by the rapist aka the garbage collector. Maybe the lady is not local. OR even. Maybe the lady is a Japanese. Well, I don't know about that as they didn't give the details(that's what T**AY is all about. lol.)

However, I can actually linked this incident with another news that is known world-wide. Have you been reading your newspapers recently? The anti-japanese protestants are everywhere over China and South Korea. The main reasons: 1) the board of japanese education had not revealed the ugly past of Japan to the students, making them learning pseudo-history, 2) for the cruelty of Japanese that China and South Korean countries have endured.

My counter-argument: 1) What has their form of education got to do with you? Even if their learning the wrong things, that's their loss as they can't get As during their major exam! Wouldn't it be better if there are less international students vying for the same seat in international universities? Okay, I believe maybe I'm biased towards Japan NOW as they seemed more likely to be the victim NOW. Hey, it has been 30 years. Why do you need to dig out the past and rhetorically dig out everybody's ancestors' tomb? Isn't it a bit too late? Well, in my opinion, if you have NOT been using a single Japanese product, I'll praised you with all my might. For what I know, the ESSENTIAL products include: Television, Phones(both home and hp), Lightbulbs, etc... I think it's no use ramaging Japanese franchises in the anti-jap countries now as you've been using it for years. They lie, so no place in UN. That's it. No more riots please in case you've been noticing fearful artistes VERY aware of what they wear or use. Another poll done by the Asahi Shinbun and 2 anti-jap countries newspapers is that almost 2/3s of chinese population discriminates Japan. Only 8% expressed that they like Japan. I guess the 8% must be Singaporeans. Not that they had not done harm to us in the past, just that they have already repent and sustain a good relationship with Singapore. You may say I'm a total dummy on politics, but I know exactly what it means to totally fenced off Japan from your country. It means to me: end of good food, end of TV(esp. my fav animation), end of FASHION.

2) Thou shalt not bury yourself in thy cruelty of thy past if thou art cruel with your own ones. HELLO?! You actually stood by and watched your "comrad" aka a poor lady being raped?? Which is more cruel? The Japanese soldiers being cruel to you(or even rape) or you standing there watching the scene going on?? I know the poor lady is not of anyone to you but for some nosy people who took part in the anti-jap protest, are the victims DIRECTLY related to you? I'm not talking about your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather or whatsoever. I'm talking about the ones that you've actually met with, lived with and shared your care and concern with. Be realistic. How would you know if your ancestors had suffered TERRIBLY by only relating to the World War II? Maybe I'm cold-blooded. But I can seriously tell you that I can't feel anything at all. If I'm the one experiencing it you ask? I'll definitely have a better feel of it. So, by linking these 2 news together, why not make a conclusion and set up a protest against the 40 people who just stood by and watch? Believe me. I will join in.

Well peeps. In any case you're wondering what I am blabbering about, read my blog title. =)

P.S.: When I say people, I mean to quote it generally/without the distinction of nationalities.
